Louis Vuitton happens to be one of my favourite designer brands at the moment (second to Gucci) and I was lucky enough to be able to have this baby in my possession over my birthday weekend.
Last Thursday I turned 22 and what better way to spend it then celebrating all weekend long having lunch with close family and fun activities planned throughout! I got to collaborate with We Are Higher; an online rental designer handbag service that so graciously lent me this Louis Vuitton bag to ring in my next year of living on this Earth.
I took this out to lunch in Darling Harbour and paired it with this freakishly cute dress from Realisation Par which you can shop HERE. Going all out with the prints I also wore these amazing, fierce animal print heels from Rubi Shoes found HERE. I found that this bag worked really well in bringing out the red cherries on my dress as well as the red lips print on my hair scarf (also from Realisation Par).
Other ways to style a bold statement bag like this is to let it shine on its own and pair it against a monochrome outfit or neutral colours to make it really pop.
We Are Higher stocks so many loved designer brands from Prada, Gucci and even Dior and YSL. Rental periods range from 4, 8, 12 and 24 days depending on what you prefer personally and with such great flexibility, it’s hard not to pretend it’s actually yours for keeps! I’ve always thought that the beauty of rental sites such as this one, is the economical benefit associated with having the bag at a fraction of the actual retail price and trying a larger variety without having to worry about too much storage to hold them all. You even save worrying about if one day they’ll go out of style where you could have blown big just to buy it full price for yourself… You can choose more on-trend styles, use them for the rental period then give them back and not have to worry about whether it would still look good in 5-10 years time!
You can shop this look in the links below and be sure to register with We Are Higher for their official website launch date!
Until next time,
